News - 2020
2020 started with a bang, with interest from Broadway producers for “Nanyehi,” an “Early Birthday Surprise Party” in Tulsa for Beckaroo’s milestone birthday, and a Bluebird Café gig to benefit Alive Hospice in Nashville. Sadly, two of Becky’s dearest friends departed this life: longtime Bartlesville friend and Becky’s “Adopted Mother” Jimmie Schmoldt and former Executive Director of the Oklahoma Music Hall of Fame and musician extraordinaire, Jim Paul Blair. Jim was a valued member of our “mini-but-mighty” Nanyehi orchestra. We had just lost our wonderful percussionist, Ron Boren last August. Then in March, the Corona virus hit and all of Becky’s shows were canceled/postponed for the rest of the year, including two Nanyehi productions www.nanyehi.com The good news is that Becky has been writing and will hopefully have a new album out by the first of the year. So now, we continue to pray for good health for all people of all races and nations all over the world. Stay safe!
